I’m excited to announce YBM online –a (new!) way for children and music to soar while we’re going through this time.
YBM online is something I’ve wanted to do (and have been asked to do) for a few years now. Many of my local families were interested in a way to bring the joy of Yellow Bird into their homes, or on their vacation; and many lived too far to have the weekly Yellow Bird experience in person and had been asking about online access.
So with all that in mind, to bring as much togetherness and familiarity to these distant and unusual times, I decided to launch YBM online.
Each week will feature a pre-recorded music class for you to view together any time of your choosing – and as often as you’d like! It will be a wonderful way to bring music education into your home. With our all-original themed music, your entire family will learn fun ways to incorporate music into your daily routine and transform simple household objects into music making instruments. Classes will be suitable (not to mention fun and engaging!) for all age levels, so it’s perfect for my little birdies all the way up to my alumni birdies; and wonderful for siblings.
All you need is your love for music, I’ll take care of the rest.
If you are unable to – or choosing not to – do screens with your little one, the pre-recorded YBM online classes will be just as as fun if you listen to them as audio alone. In each class, I will cue and talk through what I’m doing so it will feel as natural to follow along at home listening as it will watching.
